[Attorney Lee Yoon Chul] Appointed as an arbitrator at the Korea Commercial Arbitration Center
Lawyer Yoon-Cheol Lee of Hanbyul Law Firm (43rd Sassi) has been appointed as an arbitrator at the Korea Commercial Arbitration Institute.
The Korea Commercial Arbitration Institute, affiliated with the Ministry of Justice, is an arbitration institution that resolves disputes arising from domestic and international commercial transactions, and the arbitral award has the same effect as a final judgment of a court.
The arbitrators who render arbitration awards are required to have the ability to make legal judgments and specialized knowledge in related fields, just like judges in a court of law, so the Arbitration Management Committee examines the experience, education, and expertise of new arbitrators and finally appoints them.
Arbitrators are known to be very difficult to be appointed because they are selected through strict criteria, such as having at least 10 years of legal experience in the legal profession, at least 10 years of practical experience in the real world, and at least 5 years of experience as a university professor in academia.
With this appointment, there are four arbitrators in Hanbyul Law Firm: Young Ryong Choi, Seung Ho Lee, Soo Hyun Song, and Yoon Chul Lee.
