Wangsimni New Town was designated as a pilot new town in Seoul in 2002 along with Eunpyeong New Town and Gilum New Town. A total of 1,702 units will be built in District 1, and the remaining 596 units will be sold to the public, including 759 units for members and 333 rental apartments. The association had initially planned to sell the units to the public late last year, but postponed the sale since March due to a lawsuit.
