Ghost hiring in my company's name...I've become a scammer

Heo Eun-seok, a lawyer at Hanbyol Law LLC, recommended that the ghost recruitment and impersonation case should be viewed as a "step to prevent further crimes" rather than a mere blip on the radar, and that the company should consult with a lawyer as soon as possible to check the realistic possibilities and risks, and to comprehensively review the response direction and strategy.

Assuming that impersonation may fall under various criminal offenses such as fraud, forgery and execution of fraudulent documents, business interference, and violation of the Employment Security Act, Mr. Heo explained that it is necessary to file a criminal complaint and submit facts and evidence to the job recruitment site operator to demand an immediate takedown (temporary measure), and to consider civil and criminal remedies such as injunctions if the platform delays the action or repeats the reposting.

He also emphasized the need for a systematic and prompt response to minimize defamation and further damage to the company, including collecting evidence, cooperating with law enforcement agencies, warning of damage through the company's official channels, and monitoring reposts.
